The entertainment season in Western New York and Southern Ontario this past year has been among the best in recent memory. You would be hard-pressed to find a better year for concerts, events, and shows than we had in 2024. As the year winds down, it's important to look back at some of the top artists and groups that have come to town.

Reviewing the options we've had this year shows us some top notch entertainment, not only have we seen Drake and J.Cole, Shaboozey, Robin Thicke, Rob Base, Vanilla Ice, Pitbull and T-Pain. Suppose that seems like a lot of options. In that case, you may have forgotten about Nicki Minaj, Diana Ross, Flo Rida, Janet Jackson, Lionel Richie, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Bell Biv DeVoe, and Soulja Boy - and those artists are just a small sampling of the great performances we've had in 2024.

Looking forward to 2025, we may have just as good of a year, especially when you see who's coming to Western New York. There is an extremely funny singer, songwriter, musician, and actor who is on his way to Darien Lake Amphitheater to show us why he's been able to sell more than 12 million albums in his career.

These are some of the most glamourous and astoundingly beautiful theaters in all of Upstate New York. From the very modern (the Frank Gehry designed concert hall at Bard College) to the very, very old (several from 150+ years ago), this is a collection of great places to see a concert in Upstate New York. Note that this gallery includes the original "String of Pearls." These are gorgeous vaudeville and silent movie houses built in the early 1900s, and are still active today. They "string" along from Troy to Buffalo. Just awesome!

Red Hot Chili Peppers at Darien Lake PAC

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers the Red Hot Chili Peppers came back through the Western New York area on Friday night for the 1st time in 7 years. The band is currently on the road what they are calling the Unlimited Love Tour. The last time they played in the area was in Buffalo at the KeyBank Center in February of 2017. So, it's been a while since their fans had to wait for the band to circle back around. This time though they had longtime guitarist John Frusciante back with them replacing Josh Klinghoffer, who was with the band from 2009-2019.
