Soaring Home Prices in Wealthy Buffalo Neighborhoods
For the second time in less than one week, a home in Buffalo’s Delaware District has sold and crossed the $1 million-plus threshold.
In the latest deal, filed Oct. 28 in the Erie County Clerk's office, Nicholas Hegeman and Elizabeth Jones paid $1.75 million for a five-bedroom house at 191 Windsor Ave., buying it from Lisa Pierce and Frederick Pierce II.
Built on a double lot in 1957, the 3,941-square-foot home’s amenities include an outdoor pool.
The deal was Erie County’s 62th sale of a private residence this year, where the price was north of $1 million.
The sale of $1 million-plus homes is considered a key economic benchmark in Buffalo Niagara’s residential real estate landscape.
