HIT THE BEACH
Sitting along the shores of Lake Erie or Lake Ontario can keep you cool. It is usually much windier along the beach which will help you keep cool and of course, you can also take a dip in the lake as well. Setting up a tent or umbrella on the beach will also provide some shade to keep you cool.

HIT UP A LOCAL ICE CREAM SHOP
We all love to eat here in Western New York and this week would be the perfect time to check out a local ice cream shop. From Two Scoops in Hamburg to Kone King in West Seneca, your local ice cream shop can keep you cool. You can order my favorite treat, a large soft-serve twist with cherry dip.
HIT UP THE MALL OR LOCAL BUSINESSES
You can use this week for some retail therapy and stay cool. A trip to the Galleria or the Factory Outlets in Niagra Falls will allow you to shop comfortably due to the AC. You can also check out all the local mom-and-pop shops to buy some cool gear while staying cool.
HIT UP THE LIBRARIES
One of the best places to stay cool is to head over to your local library. Not only will they have AC you can also catch up on the latest news with their computers or dive into a mystery with amazing books. The best part is free to stop into the local library.
