“Big Money” Powerball Ticket Sold In New York State

It was another lucky night for lottery players in New York.

The New York State Lottery announced that there was another "Big Money" winning Powerball ticket sold in the state from Saturday's drawing.

That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number to win the 3rd place prize of $50,000.

This was the 4th "Big Money" winning ticket sold in New York in the month of February.

Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were: 23-44-57-60-62 with a Powerball number 09.

No one claimed the grand prize on Saturday so the jackpot for Monday's drawing is now worth $142 million dollars.

The Powerball drawing is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night at 10:59 pm.

So far in 2025, the Powerball game has been lucky for lottery players. There have been 13 "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold in New York so far in 2025.

Powerball tickets cost $2 each or $3 each if you want the Powerplay on your ticket. The Powerplay allows the winning amount of the prize to be doubled, tripled, quadrupled, or even increased by 5 times the amount.

Powerball is not the only way to win big in the lottery in New York State. You can also play the Mega Ball twice every week as well. The Mega Millions is played every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 pm. Just like the Powerball, tickets are $2 each or $3 for a ticket with the Megaplier. The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing is up to $110 million dollars.
