Every Friday night cars would spill out of their parking lot and line up on the shoulder of Clinton Street as people were getting their fix of one of the most underrated fish fries in Western New York.

The hot spot that you might have never heard of is Mandy's Cafe. Located at 3796 Clinton St, when Mandy's gets busy you will see lots of cars parked along the shoulder of Clinton street, just so people can get that fish fry.

Mandy's has 4.5 out of five stars on Yelp! and they offer a wide selection of homecooked food along with their crispy yet flakey, spilling over the plate-sized fish fry.

Just make sure to have some cash on you. The last time that I went with my family, they were only accepting cash. No credit cards or checks. I am not sure if they are still operating that way, but it is worth a trip to the ATM to get some cash because you will love your dinner.

So this year get out of your Fish Fry comfort zone and try something new, try a true hidden gem for one of Buffalo's Fish fries.
