The final Powerball drawing of April ended up being pretty lucky for lottery players in New York State.

While there was no grand prize winner from last night's drawing, the New York State Lottery announced there were plenty of winning tickets sold in New York.

According to the New York State Lottery, there were no "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing.

There were 14th 4th place winning tickets sold in New York. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball. Each one of those tickets won at $100, with four of those tickets winning $200 because they had the Powerplay.

There were also 49 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York from last night's Powerball drawing. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball to win at least $100 dollars. 8 of those tickets also had the Powerplay, so they won $200.

What Is The Current Powerball Jackpot Amount?

Since no one won the grand prize from last night's Powerball drawing, the jackpot for Friday's drawing is now up to $44 million dollars. The last Powerball jackpot winner was back on April 26th. One winning ticket was sold in Kentucky, and that lucky winner took home over $163 million dollars.

The Powerball is played every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the drawing set for 11 pm.
