“Big Money” Mega Millions Tickets Sold In New York

Friday's Mega Millions drawing produced a "Big Money" winner in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that there was one 3rd place winning ticket sold in New York from Friday's Mega Millions drawing. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Megaball number.

The built-in multiplier on the winning ticket was 3x times the winning prize amount which means that the ticket won $30,000.

There were also several other 4th and 5th place winning tickets sold in New York. Based on the built-in multiplier, those tickets won between $1000 and $5000 dollars.

There were 25 $1000 dollar winning tickets sold in New York.
There were 5 $1500 dollar winning tickets sold in New York.
There were 6 $2000 dollar winning tickets sold in New York.
There were 3 $2500 dollar winning tickets sold in New York
There were 3 $5000 dollar winning tickets sold in New York.

The Mega Millions is drawn every Tuesday and Friday night at 11 pm.
