The New York State Lottery announced that while there were no "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York State, there were still plenty of winning tickets sold. There were 49 4th and 5th-place winners in New York.

Each one of those tickets won at least $100, with eight of those tickets winning more because they had the Powerplay. Wednesday's Powerplay was double the prize amount, meaning those tickets won $200 each.

Was There a Grand Prize Winner From Last Night's Powerball?

According to the New York State Lottery, there was no grand prize winner from last night's Powerball drawing. That means that the jackpot for Saturday's drawing is now up to $168 million dollars.

The last jackpot winning ticket sold for the Powerball was back on March 29th of this year. One ticket matched all six numbers and won the $526.5 million dollar jackpot. That winning ticket was sold in California.
