Playing in his sixth Pro Bowl, now retired Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams closed out his pro football career on the winning team as the AFC beat the NFC 26-7 during a driving rainstorm in Orlando.  Williams was credited with a pair of tackles and a sack.  He was joined by Hall of Famer Jim Kelly who served as an AFC captain.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes drove the AFC squad to an early 14-0 lead on drives of 75 and 74 yards and the NFC never caught up.  Mahomes finished 7 of 14 passing for 156 yards and an 18-yard touchdown pass to Eric Ebron in the approximately 20 minutes that he played.  Mahomes was named the Pro Bowl offensive MVP.

Meanwhile on defense, New York Jets defensive back Jamal Adams was named the defensive MVP.  He finished with a sack and an interception.

The only reason I watched some of the game was because Kyle Williams was involved. But with players going thru the motions, offensive players playing on defense and defensive players playing on offense, no blitzing and essentially no tackling, the game is a joke.  It's further evidence that all-star games are a waste of time, but I will say I did enjoy the NHL All Star game over the weekend.  I like the changes the NHL made and maybe it's something the NFL should do to make the Pro Bowl more watchable.
