Back to school brings new technology to Springville buses!

Over the summer, radar was installed on new buses in a effort to keep students safe.

The radar will help the driver determine the speed and distance of on coming traffic.

According to the post on their website, the SGI district reports:

Seven new full size buses and three 16-passenger buses arrived late last week to transport our students this school year.  The large buses are equipped with a radar to allow our drivers to know how fast the car in front of the bus is going as well as collision mitigation and electronic stability control.  We are very excited to get these buses on the runs for September 4 opening day.
