4th of July

It's just after midnight on the Fourth of July. I'm sitting here in the studio looking up the weather, and this is what it says. I don't even know if this is a joke or not.

Maybe you live someplace where fireworks are illegal. Maybe secretly every time you hear some go off you are momentarily terrified that somebody on a neighboring block has just been shot to death. Maybe both (Brooklyn, rep!).

We're all entitled to our own opinions, but food is arguably the best part of any holiday. See, eating our way through this sort of celebration is an automatic win-win-- we're happy, our stomach's are happy, everyone's happy.

You can celebrate freedom and reasonable prices this Independence Day.

On Independence Day, we Americans like to set off fireworks.

This year's 4th of July is going to be a booming celebration! Tim McGraw will partner up with Mariah Carey to headline the 2013 Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.
