The trailer for Trolls is DreamWorks’ greatest troll to date, somehow managing to encapsulate the most irritating aspects of the animation studio’s productions in a minute flat. The names of Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake pass by to hint at the promise of a good time with plenty of throaty musical numbers, but this is only misdirection for the volley of aggression to come.

There are few performers as easy to watch as Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick. Both are blessed with that most uncommon superpower – they walk on screen and you instantly like them, no strings attached. So any movie that casts them side-by-side deserves your attention. If that movie is a musical, that movie becomes an instant must-see. But now Hollywood have decided to test your devotion by making them the leads in the upcoming Trolls, an animated musical based on those creepy Troll dolls.

The original Pitch Perfect grossed a modest $65 million at the domestic box office, which was just enough to justify a sequel. Three years later, Pitch Perfect 2 has just passed $160 million on a budget of only $29 million, so yeah, of course Universal is officially moving forward with Pitch Perfect 3. It turns out that a combination of snarky comedy and a capella remixes of pop hits is a license to print money. So much money.

Shower thoughts...you know, they're the things that you think about in the shower that are so stupid that you never say them out loud.  Well, a few months ago, comedian Nick Offerman offered up a few for us to hear.  And now, actress Anna Kendrick has responded with a few of her own.

The Pitch is back!!! I have to say that whenever Pitch Perfect if on or available I won't hesitate to watch it. It's one of those movies that even though you own it...if it's on TV you'll watch it. LOL Check out this new sneak peek of a riff off from the new movie...

The first ‘Pitch Perfect’ was a sleeper success, doing surprisingly solid business at the box office and earning equally solid reviews from critics. But it was home video that transformed this little a cappella comedy into a genuine sensation, instantly becoming the favorite film of 12-year-old girls (and their initially reluctant parents) all over the world. So the new ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ trailer arrives with the air of an event film. The sequel is not an underdog, but the Bigger, Flashier, and Louder follow-up that has the confidence to suggest that there is an entire franchise to be found here.

In the fall of 2013, APCO Worldside surveyed 70,000 people about the world’s biggest brands. They measured their responses in eight different ways—“understanding, approachability, relevance, admiration, curiosity, identification, empowerment, and pride.” The number one most loved company out of 600 choices: Disney.

Yes, the internet just shook with squeals of glee (no pun intended): the ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ trailer has arrived and, for better or worse, it looks like a whole lot more of the same. For fans, that's perfectly okay! Why fix something that clearly isn't broken? For the people who just couldn't deal with the first entry, this one promises all kinds of new nightmares and/or migraines.

This is genius. Super Bowl commercials can cost millions of dollars. So if you can avoid all those costs and still take advantage of the hype, wouldn't it make sense to do it? As long as you can legally avoid any trouble, it's totally worth it!
