Dino J. Lorenzetti served as a Staff Sergeant in Northern Africa and Italy from November, 1942 until he was honorably discharged in December, 1945.

With its student population having fallen over the past five years from 164 to 103, teachers and parents on Wednesday were told that Mary Queen of Angels School in Cheektowaga will be closing at the end of the school year. With only half of the school's current students registered to return next year the school's Board of Trustees made the difficult decision to close.
