Buffalo Marathon

Lucas McAneny, 35, of Hamilton, Ontario, along with his two-year-old son, Sutton, crossed the Buffalo Marathon finish line last weekend in two hours, 33 minutes, and 32 seconds to seal their first-place finish.

The Buffalo Marathon is less than a month away, and one runner is dedicating her first marathon to the fight against cancer.

It's a big weekend in Buffalo. The long-awaited Buffalo Marathon will be taking place, finally! That also means there will be some pretty major road closures.

A few weeks ago, the Buffalo Marathon announced it would be postponed into June this year. It looks like that was a great decision on their part.

Training for a marathon takes months. So I guess if you were to look on the bright side, you're going to have a little more time to train for it this year.

There are over 5,000 people signed up for the Buffalo Marathon that carried over from the 2020 race that was cancelled and people are waiting to know what will exactly happen this year. There will be an announcement Saturday morning, January 30th on Facebook live...

Unfortunately, the Buffalo Marathon had to be cancelled this year, but organizers have come up with a new way to challenge runners in Western New York.

Would I classify myself as a 'runner'? I mean, I suppose. I go on runs a lot, nothing serious though. I'm not trying to time myself. Out of all the Buffalo big runs between the Buffalo Marathon all the way through the Turkey Trot--I'll do the less serious ones...

If you were thinking about registering for this year's Buffalo Marathon, you better get to it. They announced today that they are 80% full.

Congratulations to everyone who did the Buffalo Marathon over the weekend, it is no small task. The weather ended up being nicer than expected which let more spectators come out and cheer on the runners. My favorite part is always seeing all of the supporters that come out by the numbers to cheer on the runners--and to bring their homemade signs, which are sometimes priceless...

The Buffalo Marathon is this weekend and thousands of runners will line-up to start the 26.2 mile trek around the Queen City. I love to run, but have not been ready for the challenge of running 13.1 (half) or 26.2 miles (full) marathon. Finishing a marathon is as much about mental preparation as it is physical.
