We announced the date for the next WYRK Acoustic Show at UB yesterday morning. Charlie Worsham will join Easton Corbin and Joel Crouse on stage on Monday night, September 16. This show is less than three weeks away, and if it is like our other shows from the past, it is sure to sell out!!

I have so much fun planning the WYRK Acoustic Shows twice a year. I love the format of the shows at UB Center for the Arts -- guitar pull style, with all acts on stage together, playing their hits and sharing stories of writing or recording them.

Charlie Worsham's debut album is about as splashy as a summer drought -- but that's not his style. The Mississippi-born instrumentalist puts his schooling to work on 'Rubberband,' an album that will compete for the best debut effort of 2013.

The Academy of Country Music has announced performers for the free and open-to-the-public 2013 ACM Experience, which is taking place during 'The Week Vegas Goes Country' leading up to the 48th Annual Country Music Awards. This year, the musical acts include Jewel and Easton Corbin.

At the station, we receive tons of new music each day.  Some of the material is from up and coming stars and some is from people that are on the outside looking in.  One of the better songs to come in is "Could It Be" by a guy named Charlie Worsham.
