Little Big Town is heading back to Nashville next week to host the 2014 CMA Music Festival. This is the second time around for the country supergroup and if this promo is any indication, it looks like they are going to have even more fun hosting this year.

Martina McBride hosted the 28th annual YWCA Celebrity Auction on Sunday.  Martina along with Lady Antebellum and Willie Nelson put autographed posters up for bid, while Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and Big & Rich donated signed CDs to the sale.

Reba has been on tour off and on with George Strait and Lee Ann Womack over the last year and a half and she has loved every minute of it.  We were fortunate to have the tour stop in Buffalo last fall.  I wondered if Reba would decide to headline her own tour again with supporting acts, well that question was answered this morning in Nashville.

Keith Urban prepares for a busy week in Nashville and for the US leg of his ‘Get Closer’ tour.  Keith will perform in downtown Nashville as part of the CMA Music Fest and he’ll also appear on the CMT Music Awards Wednesday night.  Busy, busy.

For the very first time in her career, Shania Twain will sign autographs at the CMA Music Festival next month in Nashville.  Shania has appeared at the festival before but only to perform, never to sign autographs.

One of the most fun events during the 'CMA Music Festival ’ is the  City of Hope Softball Challenge   in Nashville.  This year’s game is set for June 11 at Greer Stadium.  The challenge supports and helps raise money for research and treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.  I went to Nashville for the festival when it was still known as ‘Fan Fair’ and had a blast.

The CMA Music Festival celebrates its 40th anniversary this year!  You can be a part of the celebration by sharing your photos from previous CMA festivals that you’ve attended.  That’s right, share your pics with the CMA and they might be used on promotional websites, displays and exhibits!

Performers for this summer’s CMA Music Festival have been announced and it features some knock outs.  Keith Urban, Reba, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Trace Adkins and Darius Rucker have all been confirmed.
