Country Music's biggest night happens tonight in Nashville, Tennessee. It's the 45th Annual Country Music Awards with hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. WYRK will be updating this posts as the awards and events happen so follow along with us while you listen to the show on 106.5 WYRK.

I was invited to a studio on Music Row today to see and meet Valory Music's new artist Thomas Rhett. He is the son of Rhett Akins (That Ain't My Truck). What a  thrill. Not only was it great to see a guy before he makes it "big" and before the  world has even seen or heard him officially, but the setting was one I won't ever forget!

We're counting down to country music's BIGGEST night, the CMA Awards on ABC Channel 7.   Clay Moden is giving you a backstage pass to the see the superstars in Nashville.

Over the past few days we've been interviewing artists in Nashville during CMA week.  Some of the artists who have stopped by are  Martina McBride, Vince Gill, Ronnie Dunn, Taylor Swift, Josh Thompson, Luke Bryan and Many more.

I was up VERY early today to check out the rehearsal of Good Morning America live in Nashville with Brad Paisley! My hotel room is above the stage area so I couldn't sleep even if I tried!

It takes a large crew of people to get the broadcast production set up done in time for the 45th CMA Awards Show . Here is a bit of what it looks like on Monday before the event!!

It is a hot day here in Music City. Well warm for November any way. I had a chance to grab some photos of Alan Jackson and Kix Brooks on stage at the ceremonies for the Walk Of Fame induction.Here are some pictures from today's event.

It takes a large crew and a few days to get ready for the CMA. It is Country Music's biggest night and here is a video of the guys setting up what will be the runway that the stars take to get in to the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night.

Walking around Nashville this morning and look who I found!! GAC TV's Bill Cody. He was getting ready to host today's Music City Walk Of Fame event honoring (among others) Alan Jackson and Kixx Brooks! What a great guy! I busted on to his set and asked for some time and in true Southern fashion, Bill was gracious enough to give me a quick interview!
