March 24 –We’re 9 months away from Christmas Eve!  I think that because we got a second winter, we should get a second Christmas too.  Kenny Chesney’s buddy and Colts’ quarterback Peyton Manning turns 35 today.  Warner Brothers’ character Sylvester The Cat turns 66 today too.  He never did get that Tweety Bird.  Now on with the country music history…

March 23 – A bit of a Spanish theme today as Ray Charles and Willie Nelson score a number one hit with “Seven Spanish Angels” and George Strait releases his first video in four years for “The Seashores Of Old Mexico.” It all happened on March 23rd on the Country Music Timeline…

461 – St. Patrick (The patron saint of Ireland) dies.  While it’s disputed what the actual date of his death was, we do know when the Holiday came to the U.S.  It was 1737 and it was celebrated in Boston, MA.
