It's a national march against gender violence to benefit Crisis Services Advocate Program and it's back again. It's called Walk A Mile In Her Shoes and Brett Alan is going to be back to walk the walk.
You may remember Clint Malarchuk from his days as a Buffalo Sabre. He survived one of the most gruesome injuries in the NHL when a skate slashed his carotid artery during a game. But did you know that he also struggled with mental illness, alcohol dependency, and depression?
I was able to participate once again in the nationwide walk to bring awareness to gender violence, sexual assault, and rape this past weekend. It's called Walk A Mile In Her Shoes and it was to benefit Crisis Services here in Buffalo. It was a great time and a huge success!
The big day is almost here. Walk A Mile In Her Shoes kicks off this Sunday (April 26th) and we are getting ready! I even got a custom made pair of shoes for the big day!

Many of you may seen Niagara Falls lit up at night. The The Niagara Falls Illumination Board has been operating and financing the illumination since 1925. But tomorrow, The Falls and a few other landmarks in Western New York will be illuminated in yellow for a special reason.
