Josh Turner is at the top of his game after his new album, Deep South, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart.

Josh Turner is an encyclopedia when it comes to traditional country music, and the singer is working to bestow his knowledge on his children.

The title Deep South "represents hardworking people who find joy in the simple things in life; heritage, church, community, high school sports, being outdoors. It is a culture," says Josh.

For Josh Turner, his new album, Deep South, is a true labor of love. His first album release since 2012's Punching Bag, Turner admits he had some doubts about whether or not the new project would actually come to fruition.
