Another Rough Night
Another Rough Night
Oh, the days when watching Buffalo Sabres games was actually fun.  Those days are long gone and give credit to any fan who can actually stomach sitting thru an entire game from beginning to end.  The Sabres had another horrendous first period, giving up three goals including one shorthanded enroute to a 4-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday night.

The Buffalo Sabres overcame a third period shorthanded goal and rallied to beat the New Jersey Devils 3-2 in a shootout Sunday night at First Niagara Center.  Patrick Kaleta and Steve Ott scored the Buffalo goals, while Nathan Gerbe scored the only goal in the shootout to give Buffalo its third straight win.
3 in a row for Sabres
3 in a row for Sabres
For the first time this season the Sabres are on a three-game winning streak.  Have they turned things around?  It's way too early to tell just yet, but they looked pretty impressive against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday at First Niagara Center. Jason Pominville scored twice and added a shoot-out goal as the Sabres won 4-3.
