What an interesting coincidence.
Seven years ago, Buffalo was hit with one of the most monumental and memorable snowstorms in Western New York history.
We remember him as a fighting hockey player. This week, he became a new dad. Congratulations to former Buffalo Sabre and Angola native Patrick Kaleta. He and his wife welcomed a new baby boy to the world Sunday night!
Patrick Kaleta and his wife Ashley announced on social media that they are expecting! Looks like baby Kaleta will be joining us in January, and Patrick said it's the "biggest goal I've scored" on his Instagram! Congratulations to the Kaletas...
Garth Brooks with Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, new Bills coach Rex Ryan, Rob Gronkowski, who is a Buffalo native and plays for the New England Patriots, and his family, Fred Jackson, Patrick Kaleta and other Buffalo pro athletes came together to hold a football camp for over 100 children from around Western New York.
Patrick Kaleta is not only an important part of the Buffalo Sabres -- he is also an important part of our community. Kaleta and his Helping Individuals Smile Foundation had plans to put hockey ice rinks at the site of the old Wal-Mart in Hamburg, but it looks like that will be put on hold, at least for a little while longer.
