It was a night where nothing went the way of the Buffalo Sabres.  The Philadelphia Flyers came out determined to end a 3-game losing streak and like so many other teams have this season they did it at the expense of the Sabres 3-2.

It didn’t take long for the Philadelphia Flyers to cash in on some awful play by the Sabres Wednesday night. The Flyers scored three times in the first six and a half minutes and held on for a 3 to 2 win. After Lindy Ruff decided to pull Ryan Miller and replace him with Jonas Enroth the Sabres woke up and played a lot better, but they just couldn’t make up for the bad start.

It always seems to work out the same way for Buffalo teams - they come out on the short end.  This year's Stanley Cup playoff series with the Philadelphia Flyers was no different.  The Sabres allowed a goal in the final minute of the first period, then gave up two power play goals in the second period as Philadelphia built a 3-0 lead and it was just too big a mountain to climb.  The Flyers beat th

The Buffalo Sabres twice had two goal leads, 2-0 and 3-1 but couldn't hold on.  The Philadelphia Flyers rallied back twice to tie the game then finally won it 5-5 in overtime on a goal by Ville Leino.
