National Potato Chip Day
March 14th is National Potato Chip Day. There’s no official government proclamation – it’s probably a creation of snack food companies to celebrate the nation’s favorite snack food.
Americans eat 1.2 billion pounds of potato chips every year. Regular or plain potato chips are the most popular, but some of the other top sellers are barbeque, sour cream and onion, salt and vinegar and ranch.
