The City of Buffalo is celebrating Earth Day in May.  Make plans for Saturday, May 20th from 9 am to 12 noon when the city invites you to a free shredding, clothing recycle and bike donation event.

Everyone laughed at a mascot whose costume only cost $100.  Everyone joked that the name Totes McGoats wouldn't make a difference with the recycling habits for the people of Niagara Falls.  Everyone was wrong.

Christmas is done and gone. Its almost time to wish those near and dear a Happy New Year. Out with the old and in with the new, right?

Just a few years ago when asked I’m sure there were many people in the Buffalo area that would say they didn’t recycle.  Today Major Brown announced that the City of Buffalo residents recycled more than 1,000 tons of materials this March which is record setting for the ‘Buffalo Green Cart Recycling Program’.

It's amazing to me how many people will pass by trash that is RIGHT NEXT to the trash receptacle.  Which is what makes this video even cooler!
