I tried really hard not to watch the new show ‘Smash’ thinking it would be too over the top but I’ve found myself drawn in and now I think I’m hooked so I was glad to hear that NBC renewed the series and will pick it up for another season. NBC’s new musical drama ‘Smash’ premiered on Monday night, taking in the story of what it takes to make it in a Broadway musical. Next Monday, on the second episode of the show, actress Megan Hilty (from ‘Wicked’) will perform a Broadway-style rendition of Carrie Underwood‘s ‘Crazy Dreams,’ according to the Hollywood Reporter.
