Make it three straight wins for Joey Logano and a sweep of the second round of this year's Chase for the Sprint Cup.  Logano was just inches ahead of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. when the final caution ended the race during a green-white-checkered finish.

Four races left in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship and it's down to eight drivers left after Sunday's race at Talladega.  One of the drivers who entered the race in jeopardy of elimination and needed to win was Brad Keselowski and that's exactly what he did.

A long day and a wild finish at Talladega. Matt Kenseth dominated the day. He had the best car, leading 142 laps but David Ragan got a big push from teammate David Gilliland on the final lap – seemingly coming out of nowhere to overtake Carl Edwards and win the Aaron’s 499.

Penske Racing lost its appeal to overturn those tough penalties handed down by NASCAR to the teams of Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano's cars for illegal parts found at Texas Motor Speedway. After a nearly five-hour meeting, a three-member appeals panel unanimously rejected Penske’s argument.

When it's Chase time in the Sprint Cup Series, the one racetrack that everybody is concerned about is Talladega. No doubt, Talladega is the "wild card" in the Chase for the championship. Big wrecks are the main concern and once Talladega is over every one of those drivers will feel a whole lot better. But there it is on the schedule, race four in this year's playoffs.

I had a chance to watch the ARCA race on Friday night and it was crazy to say the least! These drivers race hard and although it is thrilling to watch, you never want to see wrecks this big!

Finally a win for Clint Bowyer. He ran out of gas while leading last month at New Hampshire and last spring at Talladega Jimmie Johnson got a push from Dale Earnhardt, Junior past Bowyer for the victory.
