Dierks Bentley has been a country staple for over a decade, but how well do you really know the 'I Hold On' hitmaker? This kid from Arizona took the long route to Nashville, and once there, success hardly came easily. Watch to find out what he was like as a kid, how he met his wife and which famous rocker he's friends with.

Jordan Rose Hokaj, the winner of our National Anthem TOC contest, opened up the 2015 WYRK Toyota Taste of Country, singing the National Anthem in front of the thousands of Western New Yorkers that came out to see Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Frankie Ballard, Craig Campbell, Canaan Smith and A Thousand Horses.

Wendy Lynn sat down with Country artist Craig Campbell at the 2015 Toyota Taste of Country to talk about his new record deal, new song, how things are going and performing at festivals.

A couple weeks back I had the pleasure of talking with Taste of Country artist Frankie Ballard before the show (6/12).  Frankie shared some things about writing songs and how he approaches his performance.

Canaan Smith spent quite a bit of time with us during his visit for the Taste of Country.  While he was here, he sat down with me and we talked about things like what it was like as a new artist to hear himself on the radio for the first time.

Last week I was lucky enough to be able to talk with the guys from A Thousand Horses as they stopped through for our Taste Of Country concert.  Aside from the fact that they were all so much taller than me, I learned all kinds of stuff about the guys including where the interesting band name came from.

During the Toyota Taste of Country Village before Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Frankie Ballard, Craig Campbell, Canaan Smith and A Thousand Horses took the stage, Rob Banks got Country fans to sing some songs from the performers. (And of course he was singing too).

If you were at the Taste of Country on Friday or if you were on Facebook at all on Saturday morning, you may have seen that a little boy named Andrew was lucky enough to join Dierks Bentley on stage in Buffalo for a few minutes. Dierks mentioned that he had met Andrew backstage and learned his story about how he beat brain cancer.

Andrew just found out that he officially beat brain cancer. At the WYRK Toyota Taste of Country 2015 in Buffalo, New York, Dierks Bentley stopped the show to recognize Andrew, a little boy who beat brain cancer. He met Dierks back stage and really touched Dierks with his sign that said 'I Held On' in reference to the Country star's hit tune 'I Hold On'. ...
