From homeless to famous, Ted Williams is having a difficult time adjusting to his new status.

Do you remember Vicki Lawrence's character "Mama" from the Carol Burnett show? Mama has a beef with former homeless announcer Ted Williams.

Looks like Ted Williams extended 15 minutes of fame may have been a little too much to handle.  He's admitted he's been drinking and checked himself into rehab.  The decision came after an extended discussion with Dr. Phil McGraw.

In just a week he's rocketed from begging for help at a Columbus, Ohio street corner to lucrative job offers all over the country.  But is fame getting to the man with the golden voice?  Ted Williams was questioned by LAPD Monday night following a disturbance at a hotel.

Ted Williams was offered a full-time job with the Cleveland Cavaliers and he also received a mortgage on a house by Quicken Loans Arena.
