Transit Road

Who is this person in the white Indian suit that we keep seeing? There is someone in an Indian suit that is kind of creepy, walking around Cheektowaga, Lancaster, and West Seneca.

The new restaurant and bar that will be moving in is the second location for Sidelines Bar and Grill. The first location has been downtown for years.

Get ready because traffic is about to be absolutely brutal in this area. If you take this way to work, you might want to start mapping out a detour so you can get to work on time. If you are in the Cheektowaga, Depew, Lancaster, Clarence, Williamsville, and Amherst here is what you need to be ready for.

The South Lockport Fire Company on Transit Road in Lockport (kind of by the Aldi there) has a sign up that was cracking everyone up. It reads: 'slow down....buckle up. The cops like to sit behind this sign'

The conversation brought up Other people bringing up restaurants and businesses that have closed on transit road in the past year or so. What other ones can you think of?

What is happening on Transit Road? As if Transit Road isn't already getting busier and busier, getting more and more traffic lights, there is a big construction project that will have Transit Road a mess for quite some time. In the end, it is all for good reasons. The construction is to make the traffic, in the end, smoother and safer. Here is what is going to be happening:

Have you ever done a dining in the dark around Western New York before? They used to do it at Frog Hair on Transit Road (remember, the old Santora's) and it was so much fun. You sit in the room and they turn off the lights and then they serve you dinner...

Over the weekend, a section of Transit Road was shut down for some construction.  The NYS DOT just released pictures of the demolition.

If you drive Transit Road every day, you're going to want to read this and prepare because it is certainly going to be tough to drive down this summer. Expect these delays to happen through the end of August. There will be some big construction going on between Walden and Gould in Depew and they expect it will back up much further down Transit Road...
