Showing some love for his former team and former city!

It's an addition to the University of Buffalo sports program that was long overdue, especially in a climate that's so often affected by the weather.

Due to the impeding weather, all Stampede Square events scheduled for Thursday night ahead of Buffalo's football game against Akron have been cancelled. This includes the Chris Lane concert. They're calling it One Buffalo Day - it's this Saturday at UB Stadium where the UB Bulls host Kent State in a 3:30 kickoff.  It's One Buffalo Day because Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres alumni along with Billy Buffalo and Sabretooth.  Plus Buffalo Bandits star and National Lacrosse League MVP Dhane Smith will be signing autographs in the One Buffalo Tent.

UB had what was arguably one of their most exciting seasons last year.  They made it to the big dance and were on televisions across the nation.  They're back again this year with a new head coach and new players but a huge drive to be better than they were last year.

Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn't mean the fun has to end.  Fall brings football.  This year UB is back with their Concert Tailgate Series and the first one coming through is just a few days away on September 5th with Thompson Square!

I've been talking all year about how exciting UB Men's Basketball games are this year.  This is just more proof.  Last night's game against Ohio garnered some national attention not just once on ESPN's Top 10 List, but twice!
