One of the things that I've always admired about Zac Brown aside from his musicianship is how much of a business man he is.  He has a brand and he is very careful about the products that he uses to represent that brand. He goes from music to leather products, cook books and sauces to his latest adventure.  This time it's wine.

The Zac Brown Band has now earned three Grammy awards. Their most recent was for Country Album of the Year for their latest release 'Uncaged'.  It's an album that was recorded at Jimmy Buffett's Shrimpboat Studios.  Recently, Jimmy went to the internet to congratulate Zac and they guys on their latest win.

Because we're huge Zac Brown Band fans, you'll probably see a lot of posts about the group by Brett Alan and me.  ZBB's current single is called "The Wind," and they've been playing it on many TV shows as a way to promote their new album, Uncaged.  But the music video for "The Wind" is pretty darn cool, and you need to check it out.  It's about four minutes of animated fun. Because I'm an uber-fan of the Zac Brown Band, you had to know that I'd be posting their performance on The Late Show with David Letterman.  The group was in NYC to promote their new album Uncaged (which is awesome...go get it!!).  The first single from the album is "The Wind," and you can see the boys jam live right here.

Last week the Zac Brown Band gave their fans a sneak peak into their new CD titled, Uncaged, on iTunes. It hits shelves today (7/10) and if you've loved the first two CD's from the band, you will not be let down by this one.

Little Big Town knocked Big & Rich off their pedestal last week on The Friday Night Fight with their new summer hit, "Pontoon". It's back again against a band who's biggest hits are summer tunes. From the "Knee Deep" and "Toes" singers The Zac Brown Band it's the new song "The Wind". Let's get it on!!

Yesterday, I was checking good ol' Twitter, and I saw that Brett Alan (he's on our station on weekday nights...duh) posted about Zac Brown Band's next single, off the group's forthcoming album Uncaged (in stores July 10).  The song is called "The Wind," and I don't know about you, but I can speak for myself and probably Brett, and we are always waiting for new Zac Brown Band music.
