The Year There Was No Erie County Fair [LISTEN]

Marty Biniasz from the Erie County Fair stopped in this morning to set the record straight about just how long the Erie County Fair has been running.

It turns out there's one year where the Fair didn't happen.

It was 1943, and as part of rationing supplies for the World War II war effort, the Fair was not held.
