This is why Fred Jackson is the man. Fred Jackson may not be a Buffalo Bill anymore, but that doesn't mean that this community won't still mean something to him.

Fred's wife spotted a sign on McKinley over the weekend on a piece of scrap ply wood that said, "Thank you #22 Fred 'Action' Jackson".

So, Fred knew he had to go find out who wrote it and thank them and even mentioned how WNY has been so great to him and his family.

Most guys wouldn't stop to find the person who wrote that, but I think that says a lot about Fred as a person and his class and why he will go down as one of the players with the greatest hearts and soul as a Bill.
