Toyota Taste of Country 2020 Officially Canceled
Given the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), WYRK has made the difficult decision to announce the cancellation of Taste of Country originally scheduled for June 12, 2020, and then postponed to September 25, 2020.
This decision is based on the evolving COVID-19 public health threat, our ability to ensure the event does not contribute to the spread of the pandemic, and the impracticality of hosting such a large event given ongoing guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials. We take the safety and health of our guests, staff, and community very seriously - it is our number one priority. All tickets will be refunded.
Here are the details on refunds and how the process will work:
- Tickets purchased with a credit card (online, by phone, or at the Bisons' Ticket Office, you do not have to do anything, you will be automatically refunded* and there is no further action needed. You will be automatically refunded by Wednesday, August 5. Please note that it will take 2-5 business days for this refund to show up on your account.
- If you purchased your tickets at the Bisons' Ticket Office with either cash or a check, you will need to bring your tickets back to the Ticket Office to get your refund. Due to the ongoing pandemic and the availability of Sahlen Field, the Ticket Office will be open limited hours for the near future. These dates/times are as follows: Wed-Fri August 19-21, Wed-Fri Sep 2-4, and Wed-Fri Sep 16-18. Hours will be 12 noon – 4 pm on all of these dates.
- If you purchased your tickets through a third-party source (eg. Stubhub, SeatGeek, Vivid Seats), you must contact the company that you purchased the tickets from. Your refund is not available through the Bisons' or tickets.com.
*The convenience fees belong to Tickets.com, and unfortunately, they have opted not to return these fees. Their statement is below.
Tickets.com provided services such as processing, printing, and distributing ticket orders for the 2020 Taste of Country concert to valued customers, for which fees are paid. To that end, these service fees are not refundable in the event of a cancellation or postponement. The remaining portion of your 2020 Taste of Country concert ticket purchase(s) shall be refunded to you.
