The United States did have a few second place winners, though. There were 14 tickets total that won the second place $1 million dollar prize.

Interestingly enough, the location of the winning ticket sold from the Powerball Jackpot receives a commission off selling the winning ticket. Though, no commission is given for selling a second prize ticket.

This Saturday's Powerball Jackpot is the largest lottery prize of all time. The previous record of $656 million. It is well over $700 million no because Wednesday's Powerball numbers found no winner. The odds right now that you have the winning ticket? 1 in over 300 million.
