Black Friday is the busiest shopping day of the year. Not everyone went to Target or Best Buy for games, coffee makers and televisions. It seems there was a big demand for another type of gift this year. The FBI reports that gun sales were up 20% this past Friday.According to ABC News...

According to the FBI there were 154,873 record checks conducted on Black Friday -- a 20 percent increase from the previous year that caused two brief outages for the background check system

These were guns that were purchased legally and after the recent Presidential election, experts say that the number of gun owners will continue to rise over the next few weeks over fears that the Obama administration will tax ammunition and guns in an effort to aim toward tighter gun control.

I have definitely been trying to "stock up" my ammunition before the prices go way up or a high tax is put in place.
