13 New Speeding Camera Locations Active in New York State

There are MORE speeding cameras added to the New York State Thruway and more roadways in New York State. The new cameras will always be listed and can be found on the 90, 219 and more.

• The work zone speeding cameras will always have a sign right before you enter the speeding zone.
• If you go 11 miles per hour or more than you will get the auto ticket.
• It will come in the mail.

The weird part is that you have to pay a Company in PENNSYLVANIA, not NEW YORK when you send in your speeding ticket fine.

There are two ways to pay that is listed on the ticket. You can pay by credit card or by check or money order. If you want to pay by check, you have to pay "NYS Work Zone Speed Enforcement Program and the address is in Pennsylvania. The company that New York State must have hired is a processing company out of state, which is pretty ironic. I know that the cameras are to keep people safe, but you can't help but think there is an element of a "money grab" for the State.

You should definitely be safe but there are some times where it's certainly feels like a money grab from New York State. They gave out 2,500 tickets in nearly a week on the 290. Recently some people have been receiving tickets from speeding a little over at 11 at night which is not when they are doing construction. It doesn't make it right but it's just worth pointing out.
