Ontario Provincial Police say the child and an eight-year-old boy were in the area of Peacock Point Saturday when a wave swept them into the water.  A girl who was with the boys was able to get help, leading to the rescue of the eight-year-old.

(Port Dover, Ontario, Canada) -- The search is set to continue today for the body of a nine-year-old boy who fell into Lake Erie. Ontario Provincial Police say the child and an eight-year-old boy were in the area of Peacock Point Saturday when a wave swept them into the water. A girl who was with the boys was able to get help, leading to the rescue of the eight-year-old. The Coast Guard helped with the search for the other boy, but efforts were suspended due to dangerous conditions.
