The New York State Department of Conservation has announced that a record number of licenses have been sold ahead of the start of big and small game season.

The COVID-19 pandemic has made us all think getting outside. Hunting is the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors and fill your freezer. The recent shortage of available meats put a bit of fear in to people and, if you love organic food, venison and other wild game meats are perfect!

I have been hunting since October of 19992 and although I am not the most successful hunter, hunting season is something I look forward to all year! I purchased a lifetime license and it is something I am considering for my boys as well. I plan on introducing them to hunting and a lifetime license is a great investment for them.
