Angry Letter Found On Vending Machine In New York State
These days, when people want to make themselves and their opinion known, they get on social media. Facebook, X and Instagram are loaded with scathing banter about just about any topic. But we found a note on a vending machine in New York State that expresses one customer's opinion in an old school way.
We have all heard that "the pen is mightier than the sword". Using words in the right way can really be a useful tool to cut someone down or to make a strong point. But too often people hide behind their computer or phone and just blast off at people with outlandish or childish words that rarely are productive. There is a way to be critical without being mean or offensive.
I walked in to the Rand Building in Buffalo, New York and found this note on the snack vending machine. Clearly, this person is not happy with the candy bar they had and is obviously a candy bar critic.
Ironically, there is a message on the wrapper that was taped to the note that says "spread positivity"!
This was actually a refreshing moment when I found this note. The person put some thought and some effort in to posting this note. The only advice you could offer is to call the number on the machine and speak to the owner directly or write them an email with the same message. However, in this day and age of publicly airing your grievances, this is an example of two worlds colliding.
