February is apparently the month for cancelations in Buffalo. Kelsea Ballerini had to cancel after six songs at the Key Bank Center. Ballerini left the stage after six songs because she had the flu.

Fans seemed to be so shocked that they did not even leave for a few minutes, but she promised to be back and the show to be even better. Now, Buffalo has something to look forward to as all eyes will be on that show. After all, her record label is owned by the owner of the Buffalo Bills.

Now, flash forward a couple of weeks later and Cody Johnson is nearing a sellout next Friday at Key Bank Center. Ashley McBryde and Drew Baldridge were set to open, but Baldrdige just found out he is one of 5 rising stars to be on a very prominent showcase in front of radio all over the country. It is called the Country Radio Seminar New Faces Show and it is a big deal so he will be bailing on opening on the Cody Johnson show in Buffalo only. Drew Baldridge has been a long time friend of the station but also has worked harder than anyone we know, so here is the best part.

Country music is such a tight knit community. The stars are normal people. Down to earth and celebrities that connect with their fans unlike any other. On Instagram, Baldridge said he will come back to Buffalo to play and he will honor all of the Cody Johnson tickets. Stay tuned for details.

Who is going to open up the show now? A girl names Lanie Gardner, who just won a huge honor herself. She was named by the Recording Academy (the Grammys) the artist to watch for 2025. She posted on social media that she will be the one replacing Drew Baldridge for the show next Friday.

There are only a few tickets left for the Cody Johnson show in the 300s and are going for as low at 58 dollars.
