LIST: Western New York Bars That Are Opening Early On Sunday
Western New York is getting ready for another busy Bills weekend, and this one will be extra special.
We don’t have to remind you to set your alarm for the big game on Sunday. It seems as though the entire city is buzzing about the Buffalo Bills taking on Jacksonville at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The extra-early kickoff time of 9:30am was originally a concern for several restaurants and bars in the area who rely on their weekly Sunday Bills crowd for their sales. However, Governor Hochul recently extended the time for businesses in New York to apply for a special Sunday On-Premise Permit so they can begin serving alcohol as early as 8am.
Several places in the area are taking advantage of the extension, and will be opening their doors bright and early before the game on Sunday.
Many of these bars and restaurants will be hosting official watch parties and serving English-style breakfasts, while others will just be opening their doors early for Bills fans.
You’ll want to call or check the social media of your favorite spot for details on any special activities, and we highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time if you’re able. These places are sure to be packed.
We’ll continue to update this list as more bars and restaurants announce they’ll be open, so be sure to keep checking!
*Note: This list was compiled using a variety of sources, including crowdsourcing on social media. You’ll want to double check with these establishments for their official hours on Sunday.
