Buffalo, for being so far away from any ocean is SUPER lucky that we have beaches because of Lake Erie. Now, I know what you are thinking: 'they are not great beaches' or 'oh, they are disgusting beaches' and the reality is, some are and some aren't but, at least we have them.

At least we have a place to go hit some sand, get some sand, and have some drinks. Here is a list of beaches in Western New York:

  1. Sole Beach Bar - 3580 Lake Shore Rd, Blasdell, NY 14219
  2. Cabana Sam's Sunset Bay Grill - 1028 S Shore Dr, Irving, NY 14081
  3. New Papi Grande Beach Bar - 201 Ohio Street, Buffalo, NY

This is going to be awesome. There is a NEW beach bar that is coming to downtown Buffalo.

A legit beach bar here.

A legit party beach bar.

This is not going to be at the beach bar down at Sunset or Mickey Rats. No driving all the way down to Irving, because this is going to be right down here at downtown Buffalo. The awesome, taco place Papi Grande's, which is located by UB over at 4276 Maple Road in Amherst is opening the new beach bar in downtown Buffalo on Ohio Street and will be able to hold up to 1000 people on the beach. They're going to be looking at hiring people to work the beach bar soon as well. When is the Papi Grande beach bar going to open? Papi Grande beach bar will be open for Summer 2022!
