Why Becker Farms Is Clay Moden’s Top Fall Family Fun Pick

When you have three kids, all under the age of 6, you know you've found a winner when the kids have so much fun they leave tuckered out. That's exactly what my family experienced at Becker Farms:

There has to be a million apples to pick, and when you are done, don’t miss the jump pillow, the friendly animals, a mega slide and, my favorite part, the food and cider slushies!!!! Next time, we might try renting a tent in the Orchard Oasis, which is the perfect place right by the orchard for your family and friends to set up a picnic and relaxation spot as you explore everything the farm has to offer.

It's truly family fun for all ages. Becker Farms offers both a craft brewery and their own award-winning winery, and they make all their own cider (both the child-friendly and the hard kinds.) They even have live music and other special events that you can learn about on their calendar.

Tickets are needed on the weekends from Sept. 3 through Oct. 30, plus Labor Day and Columbus Day, but admission is free on all other weekdays. There's so much to do, especially as apple season blends into pumpkin season, that I'd say Becker Farms is a must for your family this fall. Our sons are already begging us to go back sometime soon!
