Bills Host The Bengals In the Divisional Round
It wasn’t pretty most of the time but the Buffalo Bills were able to hold off the Miami Dolphins and win their Wild Card round game on Sunday afternoon, 34-31 at Highmark Stadium.
Bills players and coaches said they have things to clean up next week and cannot afford to have the game they had against the Dolphins. That’s certainly the case for Buffalo next weekend.
The Bills will host the Cincinnati Bengals at Highmark Stadium at 3 pm next Sunday, which is a rematch of a game that never happened back on January 2nd.
The Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, in what was an equally sloppy game for the Bengals, and will now travel to Orchard Park to play the Bills.
The Bengals did not look great against the Ravens and it took a wild 98-yard fumble return for a touchdown by edge rusher Sam Hubbard to be the difference against a Ravens team who was missing their starting quarterback, Lamar Jackson.
The Bills and Bengals were supposed to play a Monday Night Football game in Cincinnati on January 2nd but that game was cancelled with six minutes remaining in the first quarter, because of Bills safety Damar Hamlin went into cardiac arrest.
The Bills will have their hands full with a Bengals offense led by the likes of quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd.
As for the Kansas City Chiefs, they will host the underdog Jacksonville Jaguars at Arrowhead Stadium.
