The Buffalo Bills had one stellar game on Sunday afternoon. They certainly need it, too, after last week's loss to open the 2021 regular season against the Steelers.

The Bills beat the Miami Dolphins, 35-0, in what may have been the most dominate defensive performance under head coach Sean McDermott.

The Bills had multiple takeaways and six sacks, as the Dolphins went with Jacoby Brissett as quarterback most of the way, after starter Tua Tagovailoa left the game in the first quarter with bruised ribs.

McDermott spoke with the Buffalo media after the win and there was noticeably loud music coming from the Bills locker room. McDermott acknowledged the loud music.

The Bills clearly got their swagger back after the week 1 loss. Bills safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer both praised cornerback Taron Johnson, who may have been the Bills best player on Sunday. If not Johnson, then edge rusher A.J. Epenesa.

The Bills' 35-0 win is the first road shutout since 2016, when the Bills beat the New England Patriots, 16-0, which was ironically, also against quarterback Jacoby Brissett.

The Bills next play The Washington Football Team next Sunday at 1 pm at Highmark Stadium. The game marks the first meeting with Washington since 2019, and also the first game with the new vaccine mandate at Highmark Stadium; fans in attendance must have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
