When the Buffalo Bills are in the 716 during the season, they have tons of great places to choose from to grab a slice. La Nova, Olisi’s, Bocce Club, Picasso’s, JJ’s Casa Di Pizza…

We literally could go on and on. 

Western New York is known for having some of the best pizza in the country, and we’re sure the Bills take advantage of that when they’re in town. But don’t count out our friends down the road in the Flower City. 

For nearly two decades (with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to Covid), our beloved team has spent summers working out at training camp at St. John Fisher University, just outside of Rochester, New York– a city that also has plenty of culinary goodies to choose from.

Buffalo Bills Hit Up Popular Pizza Spot In Rochester

Of course, when most people think of iconic Rochester food, their mind goes right to the infamous “garbage plate,” but the cuisine in the ROC is much more diverse and delicious than that, and their pizza is no exception.

When restaurant Forno Tony first opened in the Rochester area on East Avenue, it was an immediate sensation. Considering they were only open select days of the week, customers would be lined out their door to grab some of their amazing roman style pizza, Easter bread, and other baked items. 

In January, owners Billy and Ryan Gushue expanded to a new spot on University Avenue, eventually adding other Italian dinner favorites and gelato to their menu. To locals, it’s one of the most sought-after spots in the area, and the Buffalo Bills clearly took notice.
