A big sigh of relief was let loose from Western New York on Wednesday morning around 7:30 am. Actually, those who heard the news after also let out a sigh of relief, so it’s been going on for a few hours now.

It’s a 4-year, $104 million extension for Diggs, which locks him up in Buffalo through the 2027 season. $70 million is guaranteed money. It’s the second highest guaranteed ever paid to a wide receiver, with Tyreek Hill getting $72.2 million from the Miami Dolphins two weeks ago.

Diggs had a golden reaction to his new contract, tweeting out this video.

Other Buffalo Bills players had great reactions on Twitter as well; such as wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and edge rusher Von Miller.

McKenzie tweeted out in reference to Diggs saying to him he wanted $200,000 after McKenzie re-signed with the Bills in March.

Von Miller used a gif from the movie Jerry McGuire that is perfect for the Diggs extension.

Miller also asked Bills Mafia how is everyone feeling?
The contract extension for Diggs has been on the mind of everyone for a few weeks now. We all knew it had to get done eventually and Diggs’ cryptic tweets were an indication it was on the mind of him and the Bills as well.

If you’re wondering, Josh Allen is signed through the 2028 season, so those two have at least six more seasons together.
