Which Concert Will Be 1st Concert in New Buffalo Bills Stadium?
Who is going to play the first concert at the brand new Buffalo Bills stadium? We already know that the Bills have announced that they will host concerts in the near future at Highmark Stadium, but who will be the first to play the stadium?
Of course, it is going to have to be next season before the 2027-2028 season begins, but now is the time that all of those concerts will be lined up.
Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters, AC/DC, Usher & Chris Brown and Zach Bryan are all doing stadiums right now so they could all be in the conversation to come to Buffalo to play Highmark next summer? But, what about country music artists?
When will these concerts be announced?
Typically, tours are announced in the late summer or early fall--much earlier than they used to be.
Luke Combs
Luke was the last country artist to play a stadium in Buffalo--2 back to back concerts that sold out the stadium. It was in April and one of the nights people wore SNOW PANTS. We hear he is going to do some more stadiums next year as well and hopefully Buffalo is back on the list!
Kenny Chesney
Chesney has come to Western New York a few times in the past couple of years playing Darien Lake every time. The most recent was with Uncle Kracker and Megan Moroney. Right now Chesney is doing his residency at The Sphere in Vegas for one last summer he said. Kenny cancelled his July 3 and 4th performances at the Sphere months ago, noting that people want to stay at home with their families....but, now fans are thinking that is because he's attending Taylor Swift's wedding.
Morgan Wallen
Wallen is overdue for a Western New York stop. He's really only headlined one major concert in Western New York ever (besides a couple of sold out club shows) and we need Wallen back in Buffalo!!! He is announcing a new album we know, so hopefully there is a major tour to go along with that.
Garth Brooks
The GOAT said that he has to 'bring the music to the people' and kind of hinted after his wife's tour was over with. Now that it is what is the next step for Garth Brooks? We know the Pegulas are big fans so, we are putting our money on Garth Brooks to be the first historic concert here at Highmark Stadium.
Garth has set a timer on his social media that has his fans going WILD right now about what is going to happen. The tour will finally be announced? New Music? Finally being on streaming services? Fans are hoping it is a major tour to see the hall of famer.
